Many of my "unusable"photos were taking during an actual football match instead of being staged. The issue with the majority of the images is they were taken at the wrong time meaning that the players are in the wrong position; some of the images are out of focus but the majority simply wouldn't look good in a magazine. 

In terms of my usable images, one of the staged images of Joe Blair (28-33) will be used on the front cover as there is good head room on the image where my masthead could be placed. Either image 3 or 4 will be used as part of a plug/cover line on my front cover as well as image 18 and 27. The final image on the contact sheet (37) will be used on the "head to head" section of one of my double page spreads. Other images of Tom Wheatley and Greg McNulty (2,5,11,22-26) will also be used on this double page spread. Images 1,6,9 and 13 will be used on the double page spread that focuses on my cover star (Joe Blair) as these images show a good variety of what he is capable of doing in a game of football.

Unit 3 – Top Corner Magazine Photo-shoot Call Sheet

Assignment: Taking photos to be used in Top Corner magazine

Call time for crew: 1:00pm – all crew

Equipment set-up: 1:00pm

Props/Make-up/Clothes Arrival: The only prop needed is a football, which I will bring with me at 1:00pm. Models will arrive in the necessary clothes.

Model Arrival/Shoot time: All models will arrive around 1:00pm and the shoot will commence as the game of football gets underway

Editing/Re-touching: This will take place at a later date (tbc)
